Larry Rubin

Larry is Executive Director of the Mexican Association of Pharmaceutical Research Industries (AMIIF) and currently serves as president of the American Society of Mexico.

Working jointly with the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, who traditionally holds the title of Honorary President, Larry represents two million Americans living in the country, as well American businesses, and NGOs. For his many merits and achievements, he was shortlisted for the position of U.S. Ambassador to Mexico in 2017. Over the past 20 years, Larry has held leadership positions in U.S. companies and organizations, serving on the board of directors and chief of the Mexican Confederation of Industrial Chambers (CONCAMIN), which is analogous to the U.S. National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Larry holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Anáhuac, where he later joined the faculty, and an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, Houston, Texas.
