The Organizations Steering Group is the governing body and operational arm of the American Society of Mexico’s Organizations Committee. To date the group is comprised of 138 leaders of American organizations, who enjoy the support of expert consultants in the field of transformative social investment.
The Organizations Steering Group’s mission is to promote communication and multisectoral cooperation in pursuit of creating a robust humanitarian support network to undergird a more prosperous, safe, healthy and harmonious society.
This is possible thanks to the mapping of key actors and identification of scalable, measurable strategic models of social investment best suited to address the many urgent problems afflicting the people of Mexico today. This approach, moreover, serves to create synergetic projects that add value in line with Sustainable Development Goals.
Our unwavering commitment to forging alliances has yielded more than 500 charitable development programs, impacting more than 10 million people.
The Organizations Steering Group is convinced that the nonprofit sector is an invaluable ally in the work of forming public policy and deploying sustainable strategies that contribute to the autonomy of communities. Informed by a rights-based approach, always striving to act ethically and responsibly, we believe in the importance of working hand-in-hand with government, private business and the people we serve.
The American Society of Mexico’s Public Affairs Task Force provides a unique, strategic platform for leaders of U.S. companies operating in Mexico. This exclusive group is comprised of senior government leaders and C-suite directors, who come together to address key challenges faced by businesses in the country.
Working in conjunction with AmSoc President, the Committee of CEOs and the LATAM Council of Presidents in regular meetings held with key high-level decision-makers, members enjoy the opportunity to influence political and economic policies. This collaboration provides coordinated representation required to face of common challenges effectively, while also serving to strengthen the impact of American companies in Mexico.
The Public Affairs Task Force is structured in specialized subgroups, each with a specific sectorial focus, which ensures meticulous implementation of sectorial strategies and defense of interests. This segmented approach ensures all concerns and opportunities are managed and addressed as effectively as possible, something that affords members significant competitive advantages.
